Opquast declarations: Frequently asked questions

What are the Opquast.com declarations?

My-Opquast is an on-line tool which makes it possible for a project manager to improve the quality of an on-line service for its users. The Opquast.com declarations is a directory of public declarations by My-Opquast users. When a My-Opquast user begins a quality process on an on-line service he/she has the possibility of making a public declaration which shows the progress of the process. The public declarations make all the results of the quality assessment process accessible.

Mon site est inscrit sur Mon-opquast, mais pourquoi n'apparaît-il pas dans le répertoire des déclarations ?

All the declarations are up-dated regularly following an indexation process. Subscribers to Pro accounts and above are able to up-date their declarations whenever they wish from theirMy-Opquast account interface..

In order for your project to be taken into account in the declarations directory:

  • Your declaration must be public on the day when the indexation takes place.
  • You must have achieved at least a sufficient level of conformity when the indexation takes place.

You can make your declaration public in the “projects” section of My-Opquast. If you are subscribed to a Pro account or superior you can up-date the declarations from this page.

What is the indexation?

The indexation analyses the data regarding your project and updates the database which conatins all the results of the evaluations and the project score.Indexation takes place for all sites at the same time. Subscribers to Pro or superior accounts can update the information regarding their sites when they want to.

What's to stop me making a false declaration and indicating that my site is conform to all of the Opquast best practices, when in fact it isn't?

Nothing, in theory. But as all of the Opquast best practices are verifiable on-line. So if you make declarations that are not well founded, users who see your declaration will easily notice and this will impact your credibility poorly. Users will have to possibility of confirming or questioning your declaration and this will allow us to detect false declarations and remove them from the directory. In all events showing false results in a declaration is not a good idea in the long term as the aim of using My-Opquast is not to say that you have a marvelous site but to indicate that the quality of service to you is important to you.

Why is the link to my site not active?

The activation of the links towards the given project site and towards the declarer's site are reserved to subscribers to for pay accounts By signing up to one of these accounts you improve your web visibility, reinforce quality positioning and contributes to the Opquast project. What is the graph that appears beside each link?

The three horizontal bars indicate the degree of conformity with regards to each Opquast level. The score is calculated at each indexation.

How is the Opquast score calculated?

The scoring method is not public information and is constantly evolving.

Why isn't the directory updated in real time?
There are a number of reasons: The first is that the founders of this site want you to come back as much as possible to see how the directory evolves. The second is that we want to reserve making updates immediately visible to for pay users who are the main contributors to making it happen.

My data is not up to date.

Please wait for the next indexation or subscribe to a professionnal account. You will then be able to update your data whenever you wish.

My project is currently appearing on the Opquast site and I don't want it to.

Go to My-Opquast and change your declaration status from Public to Private. The reference to your project will immediately disappear from the Opquast.com site.
